If you prefer a wider spread of light, remove the anti-glare shield to create a living table lamp. For the best results and greater impact, place the biOrb in a dark or shady location. |

Unique Service Kit provides everything necessary to maintain a healthy biOrb
- The Service Kit includes four items: (1) a filter cartridge, (2) a packet of Stress Coat liquid, (3) a packet of Stress Zyme liquid, and (4) a Cleaning Pad. To maintain a healthy water quality in your BiOrb, you should change the filter cartridge and change one-third of the water every 1 to 2 months. The Stress Coat and Stress Zyme liquids are water additives that are used when performing water changes. They neutralize chlorine from tap water and help promote the slime coating on fish which protects their skin during the stress of water changes. The Cleaning Pad is used to remove algae from the interior of the BiOrb. It is made from a special material that will not scratch the acrylic surface.
Light Bulb
- The BiOrb light unit uses a special 10 watt (12 volt) halogen bulb. Each bulb has a life span of approximately 1200 hours.
