Easy to use, the unit hangs on the back or the side of the aquarium, just like a standard filter. It is designed to be self-starting and maintenance-free.

- Made of high impact plastic for years of dependable use, even under the adverse conditions of a saltwater environment
- Ideal primary filter for saltwater aquariums. Skilter 250 pumps up to 250GPH and will handle 10-55 gallons. Skilter 400 pumps up to 400 GPH and will handle 30-100 gallon aquariums.
- The protein portion of either system will handle aquariums up to 125 gallons, provided adequate mechanical filtration is present.
